About Catalyst by Grace

We are here to walk with you as young women and share in your journey.

Our purpose is to empower young girls to become the best version of themselves.

Clara Olguin - The Coach

Clara is a devoted Catholic, certified mentor, and businesswoman, co-founding CIC Floors with her husband, Cesar, over 20 years ago. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Clara began her career as a lawyer before immigrating to the United States to earn a master’s degree in Music Management from Georgia State University. With a deep love for music and ministry, Clara has worked professionally as a manager, actress, model, songwriter, voice coach, and producer, while always remaining grounded in her faith.

Clara is also a leader in Gwinnett County, having run as a candidate for State Senator in the 2024 primaries, where she advocated to restore Georgia’s values and empower the community. Her passion for leadership is evident in her tireless work to promote family, faith, and economic empowerment across the state. Clara’s heart for youth ministry is evident in her creation of Catalyst by Grace, a mentoring program designed to help young girls explore their vocation, spirituality, and service.

The program was born from Clara’s own struggles in communicating with her daughter during her teenage years. By providing a space for girls to talk openly and surround themselves with supportive, faith-driven mentors, Catalyst by Grace helps them navigate the many confusing lies and labels they encounter. Clara is passionate about helping young girls stay true to themselves and build strong, faith-filled identities. As a certified Theology of the Body facilitator from the University of Dallas, Clara brings her deep understanding of Catholic teachings into her mentorship. She is also an experienced educator, having taught for eight years at Holy Spirit Preparatory School, where she was honored with the Cura Personalis Award for her dedication to her students' spiritual and personal growth.

In addition to her work with youth, Clara is a motivational speaker, encouraging women in construction and entrepreneurs to pursue their goals with faith and determination. Her leadership extends beyond business into her community, combining her passion for service with her commitment to education and the arts. Clara has also served in music ministry for many years, previously performing with the Hispanic Choir at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta and serving as Business Manager for Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Mission from 1999 to 2006. She has worked as an independent music promoter, producing the acclaimed Latin show and art exhibit Vívelo, which was recognized as a vital expression of Latin culture by the City of Atlanta House of Representatives.

A member of the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS/LARAS), Clara continues to advocate for Latino music and culture, contributing to events such as Día de La Mujer Latina Festival, Nuestra Belleza Latina Beauty Contest, and GRAMMY Professional Development Panels. As a parishioner at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Clara serves in the Hispanic Choir and has performed at the Atlanta Eucharistic Congress for several years. Her life and work are rooted in her Catholic faith, her role as a mentor, and her commitment to serving her community through music, education, ministry, and political advocacy.

Alondra Olguin - Assistant Mentor

Born in Georgia to a vibrant Latino family, Alondra Olguin's journey is one of resilience, passion, and unwavering determination. From a tender age, music and the arts captured her heart, becoming the guiding forces in her life. Currently a junior student at Holy Spirit Prep, Alondra, at just 16 years old, stands as a beacon of leadership and compassion in various spheres of her community.

As a devoted member of the Regnum Christy ECYD Missionary and a leader within the Ifaith Girls Club, Alondra actively contributes to fostering spiritual growth and empowerment among her peers. Additionally, she channels her dedication to the sanctity of life as a member of the pro-life apostolate, Saint Joseph Cohort, and the Alpha Phi group.

Alondra's artistic flair shines brightly through her involvement in musical theater, where she has graced the stage in memorable roles such as Bee in "The Jungle Book," Marian the Librarian in "Music Man," Mrs. Mayor in "Sussical," and Violet in "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Her talents extend beyond acting, as she exhibits proficiency in playing the clarinet and piano, performing with the Jazz Band and preparing for a prestigious Carnegie Hall appearance with her school this spring. Not content with conventional instruments, Alondra has also self-taught herself the ukulele, further enriching her musical repertoire.

However, Alondra's journey has been marked by challenges, including battling a congenital Giant nevus that has necessitated 38 surgeries since infancy. Despite facing physical limitations, she remains undeterred, finding solace and expression through her unwavering love for music.

In the face of adversity, Alondra's passion for gymnastics was stifled by bullying and suppression from her coaches. Nevertheless, she has transformed this setback into an opportunity to empower others, dedicating her time to coaching young girls at World of Gymnastics on Saturdays.

A multifaceted individual, Alondra has also made her mark in the world of modeling, being part of the Premier Modeling Agency in TN and participating in various photo shoots and competitions.

Looking towards the future, Alondra's aspirations transcend her own pursuits as she sets her sights on studying Psychology with a minor in music. Her ultimate goal is to become a psychologist specializing in children's mental health, integrating the healing power of music therapy into her practice. Through her resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication, Alondra Olguin continues to inspire those around her, proving that with determination and passion, one can overcome any obstacle to make a meaningful difference in the world.
